Psychotherapy is a form of supportive and in-depth therapy for individuals going through critical events in their life and try to heal from deeply suppressed emotions that might hinder your ability to move on.
Sigmund Freud, father of modern psychoanalysis remarked, “Talking cures” in reference to psychotherapy process. Psychotherapy is a term generally used for treating mental health disturbance with biological or familial causes, emotional struggle and suffering from present and past stressful conditions which may not have any corresponding biological factors by talking with a psychotherapist, psychologist or another mental health provider.
